Competitors are kindly reminded of the following Rules and Regulations, as stated in the Official Syllabus of the 36th Biennial Music Festival:

      ● For all sessions, Competitors MUST provide their own accompanist for all OWN CHOICE classes. (Festival Rules No. 8, Pg. 10)
      ● Competitors should provide their own accompaniment for all classes which have Own Choice pieces. An official accompanist will be provided only for classes which have Test Pieces; however, competitors may use their own accompanist if they so choose. (Performance Regulations No. 1, Pg. 14)

The Trinidad and Tobago Music Festival Association (TTMFA) does not assume responsibility for competitors who are seeking accompanists for their OWN CHOICE pieces.

Competitors who are seeking accompanists for classes which utilise OWN CHOICE pieces must do so at the competitor’s own expense. The remuneration for accompanists arises from an agreement between the accompanist and competitor and does not involve the TTMFA.
